answer:I do not and have not ever worked at KFC, but I work at a carryout and delivery pizza place, so I can offer a little bit of insight into how the food service industry works in general. As far as your concern about knowing who should be preparing certain foods, your establishment will most likely either have paper or digital “tickets” for each order. If you’re preparing an order, you’ll have the ticket. If it’s posted somewhere, a computer screen for instance, communication is your best friend. You can ask questions like, “Is this in yet?” or “Does this need to be made still?” Also, most likely, each day the manager(s) will assign each person a different tasks. For example, at Donatos Pizza, we will have a couple people working on making pizzas, a couple on making subs, one on cutting and boxing pizzas, and one working the drive-thru window. Each person has a specific task for that day. And one more thing: they’re not going to expect you to know everything you need to know about your job on your first day. They will train you. All they expect from you is to show up on time, in proper uniform, looking smart and speaking politely. Good luck, and congrats on your first job!
