Last Answer : I think so. When I feel gratitude it’s sometimes for simply experiencing something existing openly and freely in nature. I have a sense that there’s an energy or force behind it, but I don’t consciously relate that to some being. If that makes sense I’m glad – But don’t thank me ;)

Last Answer : answer:Honestly, it's all quite confusing. Deism seems like a form of agnosticism. They ,I'm told, believe in a god /creator of everything, but not that the god /creator would be something we ... it had to simply materialize out of nothing. That's the biggest hole in deism or any creator beliefs.

Last Answer : I think of hope as just preferring a specific outcome, that doesn't really require anything more than a preference. Why go on is the sort of question that I don't understand (but often ... things that give your life worth? Your friends, family, pets, your career, your hobbies, your passions?

Last Answer : No to the capital letters. And one is an atheist. Atheistic is an adjective.

Last Answer : A mountain is still a mountain whether you believe in god or not; people can perceive the mountain different ways, not dependent on belief in god. And what do you mean by “sentiments”?

Last Answer : I don’t know. Some people have theorized that because the U.S. is explicitly secular, it encouraged the flourishing of religion.

Last Answer : What they said in their public writings and what they felt personally may have been two different things. Perhaps it was not politically wise, when one had a career.

Last Answer : In all likelihood, there are millions of other lifeforms elsewhere in the universe. Note I include algae as a lifeform. Now if you’re asking if I think little green men have come here… no, I don’t believe that.

Description : If all atheists want is for people to quit pushing there faith on them then why use bumper stickers that specifically bash Christ.

Last Answer : Some atheist (like fundamentalist Christians) believe in letting EVERYONE know about their beliefs. They have bumper stickers, talk about it, go to conventions, and bash what they don't believe in. Atheists, by ... are (or should be) apathetic. They are vocal about their belief in a lack of god.
