Last Answer : Sorry to say but it sounds like the referral Dr is getting a percentage of what the CT scan is charging. We're in NC, just a similar case where diagnostic center was set up by the referral ... than the going rate. Ask the diagnostic center to reduce it to the insurance normally charged rate.
