Answer :

Leaving a laptop in a case or bag while it is running will block the airvents. It will overheat as the fans rev at full speed, sounding like a Harley Davidson. It will then tend to be stuck on its current screen and be very hard to get it to move from one screen view to another. The laptop will then be very useless. Note also that some laptops ventilate out from the bottom and the vents can be blocked by placing the laptop on cloth such as on a bed or tablecloth, thus eventually sharing the same fate.
