answer:i’ll just tell you to stay away from InFocus. i’ve had problems with them as soon as i mount them to a ceiling (though no problems with any other proj. i mount) and they use stupid proprietary connections. make sure you get a projector with enough lumens for whatever venues you’ll be using it in. laptop wise. . . i’m a mac guy. but def give tigerdirect.com a check. i have a desktop i bought there and it’s still goin great. you should be able to find a great price on a pretty nice laptop. only downfall is it might have some version of vista on it. while you’re at it go to amazon.com and overstock.com you can look for both a laptop and projector at all three of those sites as well as: newegg.com sorry i’m not more of a help. i’m off today and i’m really sluggin around. [;
