A raccoon will kill a cat very easily. Seriously. Put the food inside. Now that the raccoon knows it can get food from your cat’s bowl, it will get territorial. Cats are also very territorial. This all leads up to a fight between a cat and a raccoon. This is a fight your cat will not win.
