answer:I live in the States and tried Royal Canin. I have an older cat, too, and he loved it, but apparently it’s too rich for him. He threw up every time he ate it. By coincidence, he accidentally got locked in a walk-in closet overnight this past weekend and discovered a bag of the stuff I’d stored in there (it’s rather expensive and I didn’t want to throw it away, even though I had stopped using it). He tore a hole in the top of the bag and literally ate himself sick. I’ll spare you the details of the clean-ups I had to do the next 24 hours.
