1 Answer

Answer :

It’s not hate, it’s envy. It’s not directed at the person – it’s directed at the lifestyle. Try not to take it personally, and avoid talking about those subjects or just stop talking to the person causing stress. When this subject comes up in our family/in-laws – we recognize that they had to work early in life. They view their road to the American dream as superior to ours, since the American dream is to work and achieve your own wealth.
