Answer :

A lot of the behind the scenes or companion books for television series include such photos. I can’t think of one for TV, but there is a really cool magazine for CG artists that goes into detail on the sets of movies and shows how various technologies were done. Can’t remember the magazine’s name, but it was a square book maybe 12 inches each side, and was somewhat expensive.
