I’m a pessimist. I don’t think it’s healthy to be too optimistic. To me, it seems like bottling their emotions. When things go wrong, they just plaster on that happy face. One of these days, they’re going to run out of plaster. Unless they’re so good at it, that they can actually NOT be upset, rather than just pretending they’re not upset. I don’t know. Frankly, I’m sort of glad I’m a pessimist. Hope for the best and expect the worst, so that when the worst doesn’t happen, it’s a pleasant surprise.
