Answer :

First things first… logon to your Facebook page, scroll all the way down to the bottom, and look in the lowest, right corner for the link to Help, where they describe all of that. There’s an entry describing Groups as well as Search. There’s even a dedicated page just for searching for classmates. Have fun!
