I get horrible horrible cramps with my period. Try IcyHot (or any other kind of muscle relaxant cream) on your abdomen and lower back. Take a hot shower. Do something to take your mind off of it, like a good movie or book. Eat some chocolate. If sitting still (movie, book) still hurts, trying to keep moving. A lot of times minor forms of continuous exercise helps a lot. Good luck, and feel better!
