For your specific needs there does not appear to be a solution. Since there is no hot shoe for your camera, the only feasible way to use a flash is to use a slave unit, which fires when it detects the camera firing its flash. But if your camera’s flash is too slow, this won’t speed things up. You could try to use continuous lighting. Most of these setups are meant for studio photography, but this LED unit for $100 is one of the only hand held continuous lighting units I know of. I have never used it though and don’t know anyone who has. B&H has a 15 day return policy if it doesn’t work out for you.
