(r) denotes a federally registered service mark. A trademark and a service mark are different. A service mark is a trademark used to identify a service not a product, whereas a trademark is a more generic term used to identify “any combination of words and symbols that a bushiness uses to identify its products or services and that federal law will protect” via Business Law and the Legal Environment by Beatty and Samuelson, glossary.

Last Answer : I was going to recommend .gif or .png, until I realized you had tried that. I'm not sure why .gif and .png don't work, because they do for me. Are you sure transparency exists in the ... format picture tools and set a transparent color (note that it will take out that color everywhere in the logo).

Last Answer : I’ve always used a separate layer for notes, then just turned those layers off when exporting the image. Since the jpeg doesn’t support layers, anything that’s hidden will not appear in the final image nor be retrievable from the jpeg file itself.
