My favorite chinese restaurant in the Bay Area is in Oakland. So is the second best. The Hunan Yuan at Redwood Road and Mountain Blvd in the Oakland hills rocks! The second best is in Oakland’s chinatown. The Joy Luck . Terrific food. In the City, try the J&A , but understand it is in the Mission, nearly in Daly City.
