Can you help me with Splinter removal ideas?

Answer :

Do not apply pressure!! If it’s sharp glass, you could be inserting it further into your skin by squeezing causing a minor infection. If it’s fragile, you might break it into smaller fragments making this A LOT worse! Wash & dry the spot with soap and water. Be gentle and pat dry the area with a soft paper towel. My favorite, the baking soda method really works best in your particular situation. Make a paste using water and about a quarter teaspoon of baking soda. Put this paste on a bandage and apply the bandage to the affected area. (This baking soda paste will cause the skin to swell and push the splinter out) After 24 hours, remove the bandage. The splinter/glass shard should be sticking out of the skin. If it’s visible, gently remove it with sanitized tweezers. Rinse the skin afterwards, and cover the open wound with a Band-Aid and Neosporin. (If the splinter was not completely removed, repeat this method with new paste and another bandage every 24 hours) Hope this helps!
