Has anyone treated their cat for a rattlesnake bite?

1 Answer

Answer :

answer:I had a dog that was snake bit. We did not administer the antivenom because as you say it often does more harm than good. We monitored her, and as she didn’t get any worse we waited to see her reaction. As long as he is eating and drinking I would not worry, but you may want to take him back to the vet in a week to check kidney function and to check and clean the wound site if it is getting necrotic.
