They can also get in fights with other cats outside, the kind that cause real injuries that need vet attention and create medical bills. And then there’s cars, which they can get hit by, and it’s a downtown urban area, so cars come by pretty frequently. Plus, what if someone else falls in love with them and decides to keep them?
