answer:Although I haven’t personally heard many cases of it, I’m sure that it’s possible. However, you’ll probably be overextending yourself. If you really want to study both languages, and receive recognition from the university for it, you might consider minoring in one and seeing whether your university has a certificate program for the other (certificates are usually shorter than an actual minor.) You should definitely draw up a graduation plan to see how long it would take you to cover all the classes necessary for the major and minors/certificates together. The school that I went to had a heavily impacted engineering program (since we were an engineering school) and it took most students five years to graduate with the major alone.
