answer:Theoretically that is not supposed to happen, because the power circuit inside the iPhone is supposed to have a relay/switch that detects when the charge is complete and no longer needs new current. So I would be a little worried about whether the power management pieces of your phone are working properly. All of that said, I don’t have an answer. MY guess is that time will use up some power and eventually it will turn on. The snarky response would be “You were overcharged the moment you bought the Apple product”.
