answer:I’m good at moving, and very adaptable. Not that I enjoy all the packing and details but I have done it enough in the last 35 years to be very adept at it. When I moved from my little divorce cottage to a new house about 10 years ago I had a moving co. move me. I had my 2 pet geese that I had had for years after living on rural properties and we put them in a tall wardrobe box with hay and bungie corded the box inside the back of the moving van. The guys thought it was so funny I had pet geese that one of them called their mom and she met us at a mid-point ( only about a 30 mile move ) to see them. haha I had a nice, new set up for them at the new house which was on 5 acres. There was an old, wooden horse corral and I had a contractor buddy wire it off with nice weld wire fencing and build them a nice little goose barn with his & hers stalls, shuttered wire mesh windows and a ” gooseport” to keep their food dry in the bad weather. They had big rubber stall mats under their his& hers swimming pools, beach umbrellas and I totally landscaped the corral which already had a big, shady Oak tree inside, with Smoke trees, exotic grasses, bamboos and I lay sod so they had their own little lawn area. it was quite the fun little project and turned out great. Things middle aged women do for their pets. haha I will be moving again in a few weeks but, literally, right new door to a little pool house apartment on the property I now live on. I am excited about getting my nice bed and things out storage after 3.5 years of room mates and insanity after being tanked in the recession in 2013. I am very creative and a former Int. Design asst. and home stager and can make the funkiest dwelling a little show piece.
