Answer :

You should not resume playing basketball until after your stitches are taken out. How long it will take before you can play again after they are taken out depends on a variety of factors. Your doctor should be able to tell you how long to wait before resuming strenuous activities when you get them taken out. Unfortunately, there’s not a whole lot more that we can tell you without having medical degrees and more information about your wound. In general, however, you’ll need to wait at least a week.
