Has anyone been to a wedding where they said "I don't"? How did it go?

1 Answer

Answer :

i went to a wedding a couple years ago, and the groom (my brother) was the one that said i don't. he ran off the stage crying but no one knew what was happening. he kinda isolated himself for a couple weeks, but then approached us and came out in front of our entire family. apparently he had dated this girl for two years because he didn't want to disappoint us because he's gay. now he's in a healthy relationship with his boyfriend, soon to be husband. honestly i'm so proud of him for being able to handle that shit, but i really wish he would've expressed himself in the first place. nice to know i'm not the only gay one in my family though
