Eight different forms of energy exist to explain all known natural phenomena. These forms include kinetic, potential, thermal, gravitational, sound, light, elastic, and electromagnetic energy. The forms of energy are often named after a related force.

Renewable sources of Energy:
Renewable energy sources can be replenished in a short period of time. The five renewable sources used most often are:
