Because Trump is trying to handle this outbreak- now pandemic- himself, rather than letting the esperts at the CDC handle it- the premier disease mangement agency in the world. Without the CDC, there is no other system in place because this system works. Without the CDC, we have missed the time to catch COVID-19 early. In contrast CDC handled the SARS in 2002 and EBOLA in 2014, and all the others. They have done an amzing job keepiing us safe. Without the CDC, we have no system. Today we must create a new system for everything involved in addressing this pandemic. Trump continues to look to anyone except the CDC to take charge of this pandemic.
