If it's for a computer you can buy a USB Card Reader to transfer your files from your memory stick to your computer. They aren't too expensive especially considering their functionality for making memory card reading easy. Can but one for $5-10 at Radio Shack depending if they are on sale which 50% of the time I have needed to buy one, they are. Some computers come with a pre-existing memory card slot. Same with some printers or other electronic devices. You would simply plug-n-play for files from there. For photo's, printers can plug the memory card in and print from there. This comes in handy at photo processing facilities as well so you can print and edit your photo's yourself, on the spot. My TV even has a memory card slot so I can look at photo's on a big screen. More and more electronic devices are having Memory Card slots standard in their products. You will need an adapter if you have a Micro or smaller/bigger card than the standard size. This is just simply a "sleeve" that you place
