To rent a truck you will need several forms of identification for you, and you credit. First, you will need a valid driver’s license; it cannot be a permit. You need two proofs of identification. They accept social security cards, debit cards, utility bills, passports, pay stub, or state identification. Then, you must have full coverage insurance and proof of that insurance. Next, you must have a credit card. The credit card is needed in case you run over charges, refuse to pay, cause damages, or run off with the truck. You may not have someone else drive for you, but you can use somebody (family member etc) else’s credit card. Remember, most places expect you to return the truck with a full tank of gas, if not they will charge your credit card for the amount it would take. You must bring the truck back at a specified time, even 15 minutes over and they can charge you another entire day or weekend. You must bring it back undamaged and clean, or again they will charge you to have anything repaired or clean
