When planning a vacation with children, many parents refuse in advance to consider most of the rather attractive options - for example, travel abroad. Basically, they are afraid of the difficulties that may arise on the road, as well as a great many other real and fictitious problems - and therefore any departure at a decent distance from home is perceived as a very dubious and risky event.
Nevertheless, the experience of many parents from European countries testifies that for them a vacation even with children of the first year of life is not something out of the ordinary. It is only better to start traveling after the child has been vaccinated, having received all the basic vaccinations - usually after he is six months old.

Quite often, acclimatization also raises concerns - especially when a winter trip to hot countries is planned. Therefore, to make it as easy as possible, pediatricians recommend starting a strengthening course of special drugs and multivitamins one to two weeks before departure. It is also recommended to refrain from swimming on the first day, and after returning home for the first two or three days, do not take walks. It should be borne in mind that the duration of rest in another climatic zone should not be less than two weeks.
For families with young children, it is better to choose countries and regions with insignificant daily temperature drops and the closest possible usual humidity - for example, Montenegro, Croatia or Bulgaria. Crimea, the coast of France, Greece, Spain are also well suited.
The infrastructure of ski resorts is now developing in such a way that you can have a good rest on them even with very young children. True, you should still wait until the child turns at least three years old - then he can be taken in the playroom or sent to a special children's group so that he can be taught to ski there.
When going on the road, parents should clearly understand what is worth taking with them and what is not an essential item. It should be noted that the main attention should be paid to the child's usual food and drinking water, so that they are enough at least for the first time. In this regard, it is much easier for mothers who are breastfeeding - they only need to be attentive to their own diet.
Be sure to take antipyretic and antihistamine on the road. In hot countries, you cannot do without sunscreens with a high degree of protection, since the delicate baby skin is very susceptible to sunburn. And so that the kid is not bored, you can take his favorite toys and new books with you.
