The U.N. and the U.S had tried numerousefforts to get food to the interior towns of Somalia but the gangshad blocked all efforts and ways into the cities. Bush offered tohelp the U.N. out by sending U.S. forces into the country on ahumanitarian mission. Then Clinton got involved and things went tohell in a hand basket.
