Dalton’s law:
It states that the total pressure exerted by a gas mixture is equal to the sum of partial pressures of its component gases.
P = P1 + P2 + P3
Where P is total pressure of gas mixture
P1 , P2 , P3 are the partial pressures.
Amagat’s Law :
It state that the total volume occupied by a gaseous mixture is equal to the sum of the Pure components volumes of component gases.
Mathematically, V= VA+VB+VC+-----
Where V is Total Volume,
VA,VB,VC = Pure components volumes of component gases
