How to apply Sitemap.xml to a subdomain.

I have several subdomains on the web and I don't know how to use a sitemap. Should I create one sitemap and upload it to the main domain folder?

Answer :

The sitemap applies to the subdomain in exactly the same way as to any other domain. Upload sitemap.xml to the subdomain directory and that's it. (y)
