Floating floor or carpet?

I'm renovating a room and I don't know what floor to make. I'd rather have a float than a rug, but I have a wheelchair and I'm afraid it would scratch the float. Or does anyone have an armchair with wheels on the floating floor? Doesn't it make scratches?

Since I have worked in the field of floor coverings for 10 years, I do not recommend a laminate floating floor at all. It is better to lay PVC, such as Novilon, it is imported from the Netherlands and is high quality. Whatever you decide, pads for wheelchairs are sold, for example for a table with a PC.
