Is it safe to have a tartare in a restaurant?

I've been resisting for a long time when the other bastard tartare and I just watch. I'm afraid I'll catch salmonellosis or some raw meat disease, for example. Once I get married, there's a small chance I'll get something, right? I probably won't resist today.

In a good restaurant, I'll have a tartare without worries, even salmon (beef is better). I don't eat in spelled - I'd rather have a decent fast food. ;-)
