Chopsticks.

I saw people on the trail down below the cottage today and they were walking with those wands again. It's 2 chopsticks and it's for older people and it probably helps them with fitness. I would also like to start cultivating this sport. Can anyone push me what the chopsticks are called? I don't know what to look for where they sell it. It looks a bit like cross-country skiing but they don't have skis. Do you know what I mean?

It is called trekking (trekking) poles, see http://trekingove-hole.heureka.cz/. And I don't recommend the cheapest, especially folding ones - sometimes they fold themselves at the most inopportune moment. ;-) I use them too, they help a little by transferring weight, but they mainly act as a "third" (fourth) leg - in more difficult terrain they help to maintain balance (one does not have to put so much effort).
