My family and I plan to go somewhere to the sea during the holidays. Does anyone have any proven tips on where to go?

My proven tip is not to go to sea. But to everyone according to his taste. We are all different, we each have different needs and we each prefer different things. So a great tip from someone may not suit you at all.
