Good evening, we have a cat outside all year round (we found her) and lately she has started to lose hair on her hind paws and around her tail. At the same time, she does not crush there, does not lie excessively and does not bite her hair, only small tufts of hair fall from her and bald places remain there. Don't know what it can be and what to do with it? Thank you very much

Answer :

I'm looking for advice in D. Taylor's book "Cat Care". But there is a lot in the Skin and Fur Disorders chapter, apart from microbes or parasites, it could be an allergy, an unsuitable diet, or a hormonal disorder. In any case, it would be best for the cat to be examined by a veterinarian, such a blind diagnosis could be more harmful. I found this in the search engine (but the vet is sure :) http://www.altercan.com/clanek/dermatoza1.htm
