What prize for the winners of cross-country races?

Hello, next month I will co-organize the running races and we were thinking what a prize the winner could get. So far, I've watched these sports cups and I quite liked them, but others tend to promote medals. Do you think that the winner should get a cup, medals or perhaps a wreath :)? And are there any established practices in this regard? Thanks a lot!

During races, medals are usually given. Sometimes a cup is added. Exceptionally, the cup is given without a medal.
