How to Get Your Voice Back when Sick
When you’re stricken with a cold,  your voice gradually fades until it becomes unrecognizable.  The buildup of phlegm clogs your throat, limiting the sounds produced by your voicebox, which explains the occurrence.  Talking, much less making phone calls, becomes a hassle.  Fortunately, there are ways to get your voice back.  You just have to properly nurse your colds until your voice returns.

Eat Soup
Eating hot soup is one of the quickest ways to regain your voice.  The heat clears your throat, removing the mucus hanging by your vocal chords.  The soup’s contents, on the other hand, push the mucus out for your body to expel.  Upon consuming a bowl, you will notice a slight improvement in your voice.  Continue eating soup in all of your meals to foster quick recovery.

Ginger Tea
Ginger is widely used for medicinal concoctions, given its healing properties.  One of its most popular products is ginger tea, which is used for treating colds.  To prepare, put several pieces of ginger in a pot filled with boiling water.  Let the ginger extract mix with the water for about 20 minutes to half an hour.  Pour the mixture in a tea cup then consume.  Moments later, your voice will be partially restored.  You’ll also feel better, with some of the mucus on your sinuses cleared.

Vomit
