Different countries, including Bangladesh and India, have specific clothing for each profession. Doctors are known by their white robes , engineers by their helmets, and lawyers by black and white. Lawyers dress differently in different countries. In countries like Canada, lawyers wear red and white uniforms. In Europe, traditional black and white clothing is worn. In Bangladesh and India, both male and female lawyers are required to wear black. But why do they wear such clothes ? What is the reason behind this ? The type of dress worn by lawyers in Bangladesh and India today originated in the sixteenth century. When King Charles II of England died in February 175, gowns began to be worn as a symbol of the king's death. The two reasons for choosing black are that the color is not readily available. Purple refers to the royalty. The main reason behind wearing black coat is the color of black authority and power. Just as priests wear black to symbolize their devotion to God , lawyers wear black to symbolize their devotion to the judge. The color white symbolizes light , righteousness , purity and purity. The only hope of justice for the common man is the lawyer , the color white being chosen to represent him. Such Indian culture was influenced by the British rulers. The 2009 Criminal Code and Orders also require a lawyer to wear a black coat and a white collar. No lawyer can be identified with a black coat or white shirt. But the small collars around their necks help them to recognize. Black and white dresses are easily bought. But the white collar is reserved for lawyers. Why is this piece of cloth so important ? White collars originated in England. In the old English court , barristers wore white collars with their uniforms. Since the barrister was the first lawyer of the Indian court. That is why the lawyers of this country started wearing this dress as a symbol.
