PIN - Personal Identification Number ( PIN is used to warn of unauthorized use of SIM card) PUK - Personal Unblocking Key PUK = Personal unblocking code This code can be tried up to ten times. If you try more than ten times, the SIM card becomes completely useless. Both PIN and PUK codes are provided by the operator , but only the PIN code can be changed by the user. If the wrong PIN code is entered 3 times , the SIM card will be blocked. In this case , the customer will need a PUK code to unblock the SIM card . To unblock, follow the procedure below: Enter PUK1 and press OK > PIN1 and press OK > PIN1 and press OK . Please note that PUK1 will be needed to unblock PIN1 . If someone mistakenly enters the PUK code more than ten times , his SIM card will be permanently blocked or invalid.
