From the earliest construction to the last time in history, there have been repeated references to the renovation and expansion of the Kaaba . These are as follows : For the first time, the first Kabaghar was built by the angels after the creation of man on earth. The second time it was rebuilt by Hazrat Adam (AS). The third time it was rebuilt by Hazrat Sheesh (AS). The fourth time it was rebuilt by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). The fifth time it was rebuilt by the Amalika community . For the sixth time, it was rebuilt by the Jurham community . Seventh time it was rebuilt by Qusay bin Kilab. The eighth was rebuilt by the Moza community . The ninth was rebuilt by the Quraish five years before the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He took part in its construction and relocated Hazrat Aswad to its present location. On the tenth day , in 64 AH, Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Zubayr (RA) rebuilt according to the last wish of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). Eleventh time: It was rebuilt by Hajjaj Ibn Yusuf in 64 AH. It was rebuilt for the twelfth time in 1040 AH by the Ottoman Caliph Murad IV. This is the latest renovation work of Kabaghar till date. After that no one touched the Kaaba except minor reforms.
