Muslims believe that the Holy Kaaba is a unique symbol of the great **** of the Worlds. The location of the Blessed Sacred Kaaba in the middle of a geographically round earth is also a surprise to many. One of the features of the Kaaba is that it is the first and most ancient house in the world. In the words of the Qur'an , " Undoubtedly, the first house that is destined for man is this house , which is located in the city of Makkah." (Surat al-Imran : 96) According to Islamic knowledge, the earth is created in the middle of a vast ocean , centered around the land of the Kaaba in Makkah. Therefore , the lower part of the Kaaba i.e. the ground of the Kaaba is the first soil of the world. Gradually a huge continent was created around it. Later seven continents were formed from one continent. The Kaaba was in the form of white foam before it was converted to earth. At that time there was nothing on earth but water. God's throne was on the water. After laying the soil, the ground starts moving. It keeps on tilting. For this, Allah the Almighty created mountains. Irshad said , " He has set firm mountains on the earth , so that the earth does not move with you." (Surah: Nahl , verse: 15). In this way the world became stable with the blessings of the Holy Kaaba. Gradually the beginning of human civilization is here. From the earliest times of creation, Allah has accepted the Holy Ka'bah as the meeting place of His chosen servants. Kaaba is the qibla of Muslims all over the world. The holy Kaaba Sharif has been damaged several times by natural disasters such as floods and enemy attacks. So the damaged Kaaba has been rebuilt several times. According to the most reliable historical data , the Kaaba has been rebuilt 12 times so far. The Kaaba Sharif was last renovated in 1998 with the use of modern and powerful technology to save it from various disasters. With the renovation of the Kaaba, the Hatime Kaaba was rebuilt in 1998. Hazrat Adam (PBUH) , Hazrat Ibrahim (PBUH) , Hazrat Ismail (PBUH) and the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) also participated in the construction and reconstruction of the Holy Kaaba in different eras . From the time of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) the Holy Kaaba was rectangular in shape. When the Quraish rebuilt the Holy Kaaba before the advent of Islam, they could not complete the entire work of the Holy Kaaba due to lack of funds. The place that could not be built then is called 'Hatime Kaaba'. It is part of the Kaaba. For this reason Hatim Kaaba has to be included in Tawaf. Which is characterized by a small round wall. The 'Hajre Aswad' black stone attached to one corner of the holy Kaaba Sharif was earlier large in size. At present this stone is broken into 6 pieces and divided into different sizes. Which are assembled in a silver colored frame and placed in the east-south corner of the Kaaba Sharif. The rock was damaged unintentionally due to many attempts of theft and forgery, including natural disasters and floods. The first silver frame of Hazrat Aswad was made by Abdullah bin Zubair. The keys to the Kaaba have been with a family since pre-Islamic times. This respected family is the Banu Talha tribe. This tribe has been performing this duty for 15 centuries. It was inherited by the senior members of the family. It is cleaned twice a year. The first time is done in the month of Shaban and the second time is done in the month of Zilqad. This cleaning work is done by the people of Banu Talha or Alshibi family. The holy Kaaba Sharif is cleansed by making a clean mixture of holy Zamzam water , Taif rose water and many precious 'Ed' oils. The governor of the holy city of Makkah invited dignitaries to participate in the event. At one time the doors of the holy Kaaba Sharif were open to all. People from all over the world used to enter this holy house and worship. Pilgrims could enter it if they wished during the Hajj. It is now occasionally open to special guests. Although it is unbelievable about the Holy Kaaba, it is an eternal truth that the circumambulation around it never stops. But yes , during the prayers, when the muezzin gives iqamah for the congregation, he participates in the prayers while standing where he is in the state of tawaf during the prayers. As soon as the salaam of the prayers is returned, the tawaf begins again. Ummul Kura University Research Center Director. (Al Arabiya: July 23 , 2012) Another thing is that on a special day of the year at noon the sun is just above the head. At that time no shadow was visible in the Holy Kaaba or any building in Makkah. For example, on May 26, 2014, at 12:16 pm, the sun was just above the head of the Holy Kaaba. This does not happen anywhere else in the world. Currently, the Saudi royal family is responsible for the maintenance of the Kaaba. The head of the Saudi government (King) is in charge of the Motawalli of Kaaba Sharif.
