Narrated from Abu Hurairah. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Fasting is like a shield. So don't do obscenities and don't act like a fool. If someone wants to quarrel with him , insults him , let him say twice , I am fasting. I swear by the One in Whose hand is my soul , Surely the smell of the mouth of the fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of Misk , he forsakes food , drink and fornication for me. Fasting is for me. So I will give the reward myself. And the reward for every good deed is tenfold. Sahih Bukhari Hadith Number: 1894 The standard of Hadith: Sahih.
