Lithium-ion battery ( LIB) is a rechargeable battery. In this the Li + ion is transferred from the anode to the cathode during discharge and the same Li + ion from the cathode to the anode during recharge . It is known as lithium ion battery ( LIB) as it is used as lithium ion added ( Li +) graphite rod anode. Nowadays, its efficiency in applying nanotechnology has been greatly enhanced.
