What are the advantages and disadvantages of LED storage cell and lithium ion batteries ?

1 Answer

Answer :

Although both cells are rechargeable, lithium ion batteries have higher recharge efficiency. Due to this its use as an alternative to commercial led storage cell is increasing. Light Li / C anode and lithium iron phosphate cathode are used in LIB instead of heavy lead plate as electrical gate of lead storage cell . Li- compounds are also used in LIB , a much less risky organic solvent, instead of H2SO4 electrolysis in lead storage cells . Light LIBs are much easier to carry than heavy lead storage cells . Lithium ion batteries are equipped with convenient components such as temperature sensors , voltage converters , regulator circuits , voltage taps , battery charge monitors, etc. The LIB is much more useful than a LED storage cell. Different types of LIBs have been marketed commercially for different use areas. For example, six-cylinder shaped laptops for laptops , flat pouches suitable for cellphone use , and Prismatic cells in plastic cases for vehicles have been marketed. There is no format suitable for such field of lead storage cell . Lithium ion batteries have a wide range of voltage ranges as they have the potential to use a variety of chemical components to form anodes and cathodes. Although lead or cadmium are toxic , LIB is very environmentally friendly as no component of LIB is toxic . NANA technology has been able to triple the efficiency of LIB by using electroplated tin anodes instead of graphite anodes . The internal resistance of the lead storage cell is very low ( 0.01 ohm) . So high electrical energy is available from this cell at the beginning. As a result, if this cell is used in the car, the engine of the car will start easily. Disadvantages Lithium ion batteries also have several disadvantages. For example , the electrolytic substance used in LIB is an organic solvent which is a type of combustible substance. As a result, it can sometimes be dangerous to stay inside the battery under high pressure. There are also some reports of accidents. Pure lithium is highly functional. Intense reactions in the presence of water can produce LiOH and H2, gases that are dangerous. LIB costs more than Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries .
