Molecules that have pie electrons or bondless electrons absorb energy from these electronic ultraviolet and visible light rays of the molecular orbitals and are transmitted for short periods of time to high bond resistant molecular orbitals in excited state. This results in UV-Visible or Electronic Absorption Spectrum.
