In the context of Bangladesh, all foreign aid can be divided into three categories. Such as- (a) Food aid: In this case only rice and wheat are sold. (B) Project Assistance: The assistance received or provided for the implementation of various projects within the country. Such as: Bangabandhu Bridge Project , Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project , Dhaka-Chittagong Double Rail Line Project , Rooppur Nuclear Power Project , Deep Sea Oil-Gas Exploration Project , North-West Irrigation Project , Fisheries Development Project etc. (C) Unplanned help: Unplanned help means receiving help from various types of goods. Such as vegetable oil , canned milk , pulses , pharmaceuticals , agricultural machinery , fertilizers , deep and shallow tube wells etc.
