Atheism (other names: atheism , atheism) is the name of a philosophy that does not acknowledge the existence of God or Creator and explains nature in a completely physical and natural way. The rejection of theism can be called atheism. Atheism is not based on belief but on disbelief and reason. The main thing here is not the refutation of faith but the absence of faith. The term refers to people who believe that God does not exist and who admit that their beliefs in traditional religions are erroneous. With the rise of free thought , skepticism and criticism of religions, atheism is spreading. Some people first recognized themselves as atheists in the eighteenth century. Today, 2.3% of the world's population identify themselves as atheists and 11.9% do not believe in any religion. 31% of Japanese people identify themselves as atheists. In Russia the number is about 13% and in the European Union 12% are atheists , ranging from 6% (Italy) to 48% to 75% (Sweden). In the West, atheists are generally regarded as irreligious or unbelievers in otherworldly matters. But religions like Buddhism, which do not require belief in God, are also considered atheists. Some atheists personally believe in secularism , Hindu philosophy , rationalism , humanism and naturalism. Atheists do not follow any particular ideology and they do not all observe any particular ritual. That is to say , anyone who personally can be a supporter of any ideology , the atheists have only one thing in common , and that is to disbelieve in the existence of God.
