1. The electron in the atom will rotate in a specific orbit centered on the nucleus. 2. Electrons will remain stable while in a fixed orbit. 3. Electrons will absorb or radiate energy as they move from one orbit to another. Limitations: 1. According to Bohr's theory , the position and velocity of electrons are precise. But according to Heisenberg's uncertainty formula , this is impossible. 2. Although he could explain the spectrum of atoms with one electron , he could not explain the spectrum of atoms with more than one electron. 3. As the electrons move from one energy level to another, a spectrum is formed according to the Bohr model, but in reality there is more than one. Which is not explained in the Bohr model.
