Three methods for the conservation and development of forests: (i) Grow more trees or Vana Mahotasava. (ii) Forests regions are being declared “Reserved Sanctuaries” to preserve the ecosystem and protect animals. (iii) Afforestation and Reafforestation: Afforestation is the planting of more trees and Reafforestation is to plant trees in place of those which are cut down. The policy of the Government is to plant two trees in place of every one tree that is cut.
